CMSI’s Compliance Plan and Business Code of Conduct expresses our commitment to comply with billing laws set forth by the government. The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provides guidance for Physicians and Third Party Billers in this area, therefore we are expected to comply. Our Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) administers our Compliance Program though written standards, regular employee and physician education, constant auditing, and re-training. Our Compliance Program supports our commitment to the highest standards of ethical conduct. The Compliance Program is an internal and external tool that CMSI uses to strengthen our efforts to detect and prevent violations of the law or our company policies.
